Ken Pomeroy

Ken is a 14 year old singer/songwriter with a Folk Americana sound.  Transcending her age, Ken has a unique vocal quality that blends smoothly, with her heartfelt lyric writing.  Ken began singing, writing songs, and playing the Baritone ukulele at age 9.  She quickly learned to play the Concert & Soprano ukulele.  At age 10, she began playing guitar. Every year she is a regular at the Great Pumpkin Fest & some nights you can catch her playing in local venues around OKC.  She has played the Grand Stage at the Riverwind Casino & the small intimate stage at Viento y Agua in Long Beach, California.  New Year's Eve 2016 Ken played a few on stage with Kyle Reid and the Low Swinging Chariots and joined Annie Oakley for a song on stage at The Shop at Skippy's.  Ken was selected to attend the 2015 Rock & Roll Camp for Girls Oklahoma & was selected to participate for the summer of 2016 as well.  She played at the 2016 Norman Music Fest and as a member of SWAN (Song Writer's Association of Norman) she received the 'Rising Star Award for 2016'.  Ken's musical influences include such local talents as Kyle Reid, Carter Sampson & John Calvin Abney.  She is also influenced by the music of Ed Sheeran and by classic artists like John Denver & James Taylor.
